She holds an M.B.B.S. and an M.S. in Ophthalmology from the prestigious B.J. Government Medical College, Pune, along with a DNB (Diplomate of National Board) in Ophthalmology. Throughout her career, Dr. Tejaswi has served in leading medical institutions across Maharashtra, including Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical College (Sion Hospital), Rajiv Gandhi Medical College and Shivaji Hospital Kalwa, Thane and Mahatme Eye Hospital, Mumbai. Her hands-on expertise spans across cataract surgeries (SICS, Phacoemulsification), glaucoma management, pterygium excision, corneal tear repair, and various minor ophthalmic procedures.

She has also presented award-winning research at national conferences and has received multiple accolades for her surgical excellence — including the prestigious Laxmi Golden Hand Award for best surgical resident.
